As an Institute of Power Engineers member, you will be kept up-to-date on the changes being proposed by the local governing bodies that affect our profession. We are not a Union, we have both Union and non-Union members. We do not have any affiliation with any labor organization and therefore are the true voice of Power Engineering in Canada. We work in cooperation with the governing bodies, in which our goal is to guarantee standards and regulations for:

  • The safety of the general public.
  • The benefit and safety of Power Engineers.
  • The safe operation and maintenance of the physical plants of which we are responsible for.
  • Working in cooperation with education facilities and government in the development of day, evening, and correspondence courses in Power Engineering.
